About The Position

Amentum is seeking an Electronic Technician to support the Space Force Range contract. Key Responsibilities Performs operating duties and routine maintenance functions involving the installation of various range equipment Performs cable pulling, wire terminating, equipment mounting, front panel control adjustments, indicator lamp replacement, lubrication, equipment inspection, and cleaning of measuring devices Performs configuration, troubleshooting, and testing using communication and other electronic test equipment. Also completes adjustments, repairs, and fabrication of spare pieces of equipment Remove and replaces plug-in components Responsible for fiber-optic distributions Assists other technicians, SMEs, and engineers in completing maintenance and engineering tasks Maintains records and reports status Perform other related duties for general L2 Depot maintenance as assigned Perform other duties/cross utilization as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or related field; equivalent military experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Two (2) years’ experience as an Electronic Technician B or five (5) years related electronic technician experience
  • Thorough knowledge of schematic and logic circuitry and diagrams
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel if needed. Length of travel determined by CBA
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License or state issued ID
