About The Position

The Electronic Technician position at Novolex in Hazleton, PA, is a critical role that involves diagnosing and repairing equipment with minimal supervision. The technician will be expected to maintain necessary records, identify faulty parts, and assist in training maintenance employees. The role requires a fundamental understanding of mechanics and familiarity with in-house equipment and procedures related to the electronics field. The technician will also maintain a clean and safe working environment and develop business relationships with vendors and equipment resource personnel.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in an electro-mechanical capacity.
• Associates Degree required with courses in pneumatics, hydraulics, fluid power, industrial electricity, industrial motor controls, PLC's, blueprint reading, machining, and kinematics.
• Ability to use and operate precision instruments and machines.
• Strong speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all equipment with minimum supervision.
• Maintain necessary records.
• Identify faulty parts and provide requisitions for ordering parts or supplies.
• Assist in training maintenance employees on electronic repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program on all equipment.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with vendors and equipment resource personnel.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
