We are looking for a talented Electronic Systems Product Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Translate Product Needs into Technical Solutions You'll bridge the gap between customer/product requirements and technical implementation by converting them into hardware and software specifications that drive product functionality. Drive System Integration and Validation By configuring and tuning integrated systems, you'll ensure that hardware and software work seamlessly together, delivering reliable performance across diverse customer applications. Solve Real-World Engineering Challenges You'll investigate system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions—playing a key role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. Support Continuous Improvement Your involvement in refining development processes and tools (like simulation, calibration, and DVP&R) will help enhance efficiency and product robustness. Collaborate Across Functions Working with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, suppliers, and technical experts—you’ll contribute to well-informed decisions that shape product outcomes. Make Design and Calibration Decisions You'll have ownership over decisions that affect the performance and quality of specific features or components, building your technical judgment and impact. Coordinate Technical Workflows While not managing people directly, you may guide technicians or interns, helping align their work with project goals and timelines. Grow as a Technical Contributor Through hands-on experience and collaboration, you'll steadily build expertise in key competency areas, becoming a valuable contributor to your team and Cummins’ innovation efforts.
