Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing. Job Summary The Electronic System Engineer supports the design, development, modification, and evaluation of analog and mixed-signal electronic components, circuitry, and systems. This role focuses on executing well-defined engineering tasks, contributing to product development, and supporting testing and validation activities under the guidance of more senior engineers. The engineer applies foundational electrical engineering principles to design work, data analysis, and troubleshooting while learning and expanding expertise in analog and mixed-signal design methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in electronic circuit design (analog, mixed-signal, or digital).
  • Basic knowledge of circuit theory, signal processing principles, and electronics fundamentals.
  • Experience using electronic design tools (e.g., SPICE, schematic capture, PCB layout interfaces).
  • Hands-on laboratory skills including oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and DMMs.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and document findings professionally.
  • Technical Aptitude: Applies engineering principles accurately and seeks guidance to expand knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifies root causes using structured analysis and develops practical solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Produces accurate schematics, calculations, and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively in team environments and communicates clearly with partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with both analog and digital design elements (mixed-signal).
  • Exposure to designing for reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or digital interfaces.
  • Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and design-for-manufacture practices.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and modifies analog and mixed-signal electronic circuits for products and hardware systems under direction of senior engineers.
  • Creates schematics, component selections, and basic simulations to support detailed design activities.
  • Contributes to setting design approaches, parameters, and performance targets for assigned tasks.
  • Analyzes existing circuits and prototype equipment to collect and interpret operating data.
  • Conducts experimental tests, measurements, and debugging; documents and communicates results.
  • Assists in evaluating test outcomes and recommending design adjustments.
  • Reviews component specifications, reliability data, and performance requirements to support component selection.
  • Coordinates with suppliers to assess component feasibility and availability.
  • Prepares and maintains engineering documentation including test plans, test reports, design notes, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, quality) to support integration and troubleshooting.
  • Supports design reviews by presenting data, analysis, and recommendations.
