The Electronic Resources and Systems Librarian at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) plays a crucial role in enhancing academic success by managing the library's electronic resources and digital services infrastructure.   • Lead the development, maintenance, and support of digital resources and systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for library systems and IT.
  • Manage the library's discovery service, proxy server, link resolver, and integrated library database system.
  • Implement and maintain the digital assets system and institutional repository.
  • Support seamless access to library services and resources across various platforms and tools.
  • Engage in library activities such as instruction, reference, and collection development.
  • Participate in student success activities and university service.
  • Experience in managing electronic resources and digital services in a library setting.
  • Technical expertise in library systems and information technology.
  • Strong project management skills to lead complex technical projects.
  • Ability to design metadata schemas and taxonomies for library materials.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with library systems such as Summon, OCLC EZproxy, and SirsiDynix Horizon.
