Dolese Delivers: Stable Foundation Treat with Respect Safe Environments Employee Focus JOB SUMMARY The Electronic Repair Technician is responsible for installing, programming, repairing, and maintaining various telematic devices utilized in our Ready Mix and Aggregate divisions such as GPS, Zello, Radio, Track It, Geo Tab, Lytx, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of general technician or mechanic experience required
  • At least 1 year of telematic device or electrical experience preferred
  • Must be technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn, adapt, and train employees on new equipment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and good safety and driving records
  • Working knowledge of low voltage and 12V & 24V DC electrical systems
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Experience using multimeters to troubleshoot and verify low voltage and 12V & 24V systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong technical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work collectively in a team environment with other coworkers and managers
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Ability to work independently with some guidance
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook
  • Travel daily with occasional overnights
  • Willingness to work nights, overtime, and weekends as required
  • Lift, push, or pull objects of various dimensions up to 100 lbs. of weight frequently
  • Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and ladders, balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
  • Ability to reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing/walking/sitting and walk on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to tolerate working in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions
  • Ability to verbally communicate, hear, and see

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve problems, gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions if required
  • Install, evaluate, and remove systems and components of these systems
  • Maintain fleet device inventory
  • Track device’s equipment and location
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems and resolve any issues or malfunctions
  • Provide recommendations on replacement of devices on equipment
  • Make necessary daily repairs to equipment within guidelines
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
