About this role This is an onsite position based at 1150 Roberts Blvd., Kennesaw, GA (adjacent to the Headquarters building). Please note that all daily operations and interviews for this specific role are conducted at this location. The primary roles and responsibilities of Manufacturing Test Engineer position are supporting all aspects of the manufacturing test process, in Automated Logic’s clean modern factory in Kennesaw, GA. The manufacturing test process starts with participating in design reviews on new products and assisting in the creation and implementation of test plans. This also includes developing test strategies for the product to include specifying test equipment and writing test code using National Instruments TestStand and LabWindows/CVI, C# Dotnet and Linux. Test Plan implementation also includes specifying test fixtures and if needed designing additional circuits to aid in testing the product. Effective Test Plan implementation shall include meeting Takt Time, Quality and First Pass Yield goals. Secondary responsibilities include analyzing production test/assembly processes and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and quality; calibrate/ maintain test fixtures and equipment for production testing of electronic assemblies; resolution of production items related to production test. Required tasks will include leading root cause analysis for test failures; creating documentation for testing and assembly of electronic assemblies; training production associates on production test processes, implementation of Engineering Change Orders.
