About The Position

This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2240P01 and is part of the FL 125th FW, National Guard. As a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), WG-2610-13, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems. You will complete operational checks, inspections, tests, troubleshooting, removal and replacement of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) which are linked with integrated systems and LRUs which are independent or associated with nonintegrated systems. You will also be responsible for isolating unusual malfunctions using technical orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, tools, and test equipment including automatic test equipment and Flight Line Test Systems (FLTS).

Requirements

  • Must be a current member of the National Guard or willing to join.
  • Must have a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
  • Must wear military uniform.
  • Must meet security clearance requirements.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Must have at least a seven-skill level in one of the compatible AFSCs.
  • Must have 12 months of specialized experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automatic flight control systems.
  • Experience with inertial and radar navigation systems.
  • Completion of an Air Force Seven Skill Level Technical Training School.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on multi-complex electronic integrated systems.
  • Complete operational checks, inspections, tests, and troubleshooting.
  • Remove and replace Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
  • Isolate unusual malfunctions using technical orders and schematics.
  • Adjust and align system sensors, transmitters, amplifiers, and other components.
  • Install serviceable components into aircraft and perform total systems alignment.
  • Maintain, modify, calibrate, and inspect user test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Evaluate operational characteristics of integrated systems.
