About The Position

MyPath and it's Operating Companies are currently seeking an Electronic Health Record System Analyst to join their team! POSITION PURPOSE: The Electronic Health Record (EHR) System Analyst will support, maintain, and optimize our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Netsmart myEvolv. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our human services programs operate efficiently by improving system functionality, streamlining workflows, and creating custom forms and reports. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solution-oriented, and ideally experienced with the Netsmart myEvolv platform. REPORTING RELATONSHIP: This position reports to the IT Project Management & Applications Director, who in turn reports to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Requirements

  • Higher Education or Certification in the field preferred; High School Diploma required
  • 3+ years of experience with Electronic Health Record (bonus if Netsmart myEvolv) system administration or configuration.
  • Ability to review operational workflows to support effective system configuration and design.
  • Experience designing and maintaining forms (form designer, JavaScript configurations).
  • Analytical skills to assess business needs and recommend system changes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and flexibility for changes in priorities.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to information technology systems and their design.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. SSRS, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of SQL for querying EHR databases to develop reports.
  • Understanding of behavioral health or human services workflows
  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle and related processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Netsmart myEvolv system, providing support to staff across departments.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Maintain, configure, and enhance system workflows and forms to support evolving program and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within myEvolv to increase data accuracy, user efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Design and modify custom forms, reports, and dashboards using myEvolv’s built-in form designer and SQL based reporting.
  • Support security role setup and user management in the Electronic Health Record and eMAR. Ensure alignment to MyPath security policies and practices.
  • Play a key role in system upgrades, testing, and documentation efforts; keep up to date on new features by reviewing release documentation.
  • Develop or update training materials as the system is optimized. Provide user training on new forms, features, and best practices.
  • Support standard revenue cycle configuration changes (rate and payor changes) and have the ability to learn the setup to be a backup for the finance/AR system administrator (longer term).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues; provide Tier 2/3 support in coordination with IS Help Desk and coordinate with the Netsmart support team as needed.
  • Conduct self in positive, respectful and collaborative manner while demonstrating proactive actions and decision making that foster supportive work relationships and a healthy and safe environment.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality.
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends in information technology and other related areas; attends conferences, workshops, and other training as needed and shares this new information with key stakeholders.
  • Comply with and positively reinforce with others the expectations outlined in: Company Handbook; policies and procedures including emergency/disaster procedures, fire/tornado safety and maintains confidentiality.
