About The Position

As a trader, you will interact directly with clients, providing them with insights and solutions based on your knowledge of the markets. Your ability to assess and manage risks is crucial, as you'll be navigating the complexities of currency trading and making real-time decisions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with quantitative teams and risk managers, contributing to both strategic planning and the resolution of technical challenges.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python; Java is a plus.
• Data analysis and quantitative/data science expertise.
• Understanding of financial markets and market microstructure.
• Familiarity with currency (FX) markets and trading systems.

• Problem-solving mindset for identifying and addressing issues in trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Execution of buy and sell orders or pricing of liquidity in various financial instruments while adhering to the bank's trading strategies and risk parameters.
• Monitoring and analysis of global financial markets, economic indicators, news, and geopolitical events to identify trading opportunities and assess market risks.
• Management and monitoring of the risk associated with the trading portfolio and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal risk management guidelines.
• Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to gather insights and information for trading decisions.

Benefits

• Minimum Salary: $125,000
• Maximum Salary: $175,000
