About The Position

RMC is hiring an Electronic Exploitation Technician to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, MD (Stump Neck). The selected applicant will support the Procedures Development Branch; a critical resource relied upon by Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians in the field. The candidate shall verify specific component nomenclatures and research to identify sources and specifications and document the results of such analysis in the form of written reports supported by schematic representation of circuit designs or entry into an information database. In performance of tasking, the candidate shall use electronic laboratory measuring equipment, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, associated instrumentation and computer-based software, i.e. electronic schematic capture software and electronic component research software and databases. The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following duties: Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, power supplies, communication receivers, waveform generators, handheld digital multi-meters, CAD applications, Multi-Sim, Lab View, etc. Experience conducting laboratory electronic analysis of conventional ordnance fuzzing and firing circuits to understand theory of function. Experience determining specific parameters of electronic firing circuits to determine maximum/minimum operating and firing parameters. Experience documenting the analysis results in the form of written reports supported by schematic representation of circuit designs or entry into an information database. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Electrical Technology, or Test Engineering and at least three (3) years of professional work experience in a relevant technical field. Military or Technical Schools with at least five years of professional experience with exploitation of conventional ordnance and weapon systems may be substituted for a degree. Experience must include knowledge of the design of weapons systems circuitry with direct exploitation experience with conventional ordnance desired. An active DoD SECRET clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The current salary range for this position will be $85,000 to $100,000 (annually).
