About The Position

The position involves teaching didactic and laboratory College level Engineering Technology & Electrical/Electronics Technology courses, including PLTW (Project Lead The Way) courses. The role requires providing leadership, management, planning, and coordination in various areas such as student instruction, enrollment, advisement, recruiting, and retention. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities related to marketing and the provision of services to both the College and the community. The faculty member will also engage in curriculum and instructional development, as well as assessment functions that include program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes. Advising and supporting transfer programs is also a key component of this role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in the teaching discipline, or Associate's degree with demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
• Master's degree and five years experience in the field preferred.
• Teaching experience at the community or technical college level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and laboratory College level Engineering Technology & Electrical/Electronics Technology courses including PLTW courses.
• Provide leadership, management, planning, and coordination with instruction of students.
• Manage student enrollment and advisement.
• Engage in student recruiting and retention efforts.
• Participate in marketing and provision of services to the College and community.
• Develop curriculum and instructional materials.
• Conduct assessment functions related to program and student learning outcomes.
• Advise and support transfer programs.
