About the position

The Aerospace Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for the full cycle product development and systems engineering of electronic systems used in vehicles and aircraft. This role requires hands-on experience in electronic design engineering, particularly in a rapid prototyping environment, and involves creating new products that meet military specifications.

Responsibilities

• Hands on full cycle product development and systems engineering (concept, design, prototype, validation) of electronic systems in a rapid prototyping environment
• Design and engineering circuits, SOC (System on a Chip) integration on PCBs (printed circuit boards), digital and mixed signal interfaces
• Embedded systems design with analog circuit design and microcontrollers
• Develop wireless and wired interfaces
• Utilize simulations tools and CAD for electronic design and development
• Verify that designs comply with military specifications as needed

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience with electronic product design and development that meets military requirements
• Experience in simulation tools for rapid prototyping
• Experience with embedded systems and schematic design
• Experience with analog design (power, ACD, DAC, signal conditioning)
• Microprocessor programming experience
• Wired and wireless interface design experience is a plus!
