Responsibilities

  • Design Owner of products
  • Strong collaboration with suppliers through potential Development Agreements
  • Quality leadership through PPAP and overall APQP rigor
  • Current Product Improvements through feedback from the field
  • Collaborate with machine businesses NPI & NTI product programs and their respected design groups
  • Identify and work with other Caterpillar subject matter experts on aspects of design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Effective communication skills
  • Technical excellence in engineering concepts
  • Project management skills
  • Product design capabilities
  • Reliability management experience
