About The Position

TempToFT Electronic / Cable Assembler - 1st Shift RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembly and soldering of wires / cables. Checking cable length, cutting, spooling cables, crimp heights, pull tests, labels, quantities, and all requirements specified by customer print. Following industry standards, perform required skills to build cable and wire harness assemblies and/or battery packs. Skills include stripping wire and cable; soldering; manual and machine crimping; attaching connectors; and attaching other raw materials (e.g., fans, boards, etc.,) Completing required documentation as required by the quality system and specified by the customer (if applicable). Verifying raw part quantities and part numbers to ensure job was kitted correctly. Completing self-inspection on work before moving to next step or QC/Test. In time, you will help train others for crimping proficiency. Double-checking the reel part number against the work order when pulling connectors and terminals. May need to work on multiple work orders at the same time. Assemblers are expected to be flexible to stop and start work orders as requested to adjust for priority orders. May be assigned to a team with other assemblers to complete a customer work order. Each team member is expected to learn all tasks assigned and to work respectfully with all team members. If one or more team members are not at work, remaining team members are expected to continue the job. Follow IPC-620-A and IPC J-STD-001H to ensure products are built to industry standards. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Must have basic experience with electronic assembly including basic soldering / spot welding / wiring experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, twist, walk, stand, and sit for entire shift
