About The Position
The Electronic Banking Specialist position at First Bank & Trust Co. is a vital role responsible for the administration and support of the bank's electronic banking services. This includes a variety of products such as E-Banker, Cash Management, Mobile Banking Products, Remote Deposit, Merchant Services, Online Account Opening, and E-Statements. The specialist will provide both internal and external support, ensuring that customers receive the assistance they need with these services. This role requires direct contact with customers, where the specialist will handle initial setups, reviews, and maintenance of all electronic banking services. In addition to customer support, the Electronic Banking Specialist will create training materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, and conduct training sessions for Financial Services Representatives (FSRs) on all electronic banking products. The specialist will also be responsible for training new electronic banking specialists, guiding them through the review and preparation of new product setups, and editing their work during the training process. Daily responsibilities include reviewing multiple electronic banking product reports, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledgers associated with these products. The role also involves the initial setup of E-Banker users, processing online account opening requests, and managing the removal of signers from accounts. The specialist will verify daily E-Banker file maintenance reports and assist Treasury Management with the setup of new Cash Management accounts, ensuring all necessary forms and contracts are completed. Additionally, the specialist will conduct annual on-site reviews for Remote Deposit customers and provide support for local Merchant Services as needed. The position requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
