About The Position

The Electronic Banking Specialist at American Pride Bank is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Deposit Operations area, focusing on electronic banking products and services while ensuring exceptional customer service. This on-site role requires a strong understanding of banking products and compliance with regulations, along with the ability to train customers and staff on various electronic banking services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of banking operations, account, customer service, and/or administrative support experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Jack Henry Products and/or Cognos is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends, tests, implements and supports electronic banking products and services such as online & mobile banking, ACH origination, and bill pay.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
  • Provides training to customers and bank employees on Cash Management products and services.
  • Collaborates with diverse groups for successful project implementation of new products and services.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of customer-facing bank products and services.
  • Monitors customer accounts for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Tracks customer needs and identifies products to support those needs.
  • Attends and assists with training retail staff on electronic banking products.
  • Applies knowledge of regulatory policies to solve customer problems and guide retail staff.
  • Adheres to AML/BSA requirements and other regulated banking standards.
  • Updates and implements policies to meet compliance standards.
  • Produces reports and participates in projects as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with ID guidelines and protects customer privacy.
  • Resolves procedural questions from retail staff.
  • Serves as a resource for bank personnel in difficult situations.
  • Provides support to Deposit Operations as needed.
