About The Position
The Electronic Banking Specialist position at Exchange Bank is a full-time, onsite role located at 8008 West Dodge Road, Omaha, NE 68114. The starting pay for this position ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience. The primary responsibility of the Electronic Banking Specialist is to provide support for the daily operations of the bank, specifically focusing on electronic banking inquiries, transaction processing, and problem resolution in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures. This includes processing both paper and electronic transactions received through various delivery modes. In this role, the specialist will be expected to deliver excellent customer service support to branch staff by assisting with customer requests and conducting necessary research. A key aspect of the job involves developing a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations related to electronic banking services and products offered by the bank, as well as general banking regulations. The specialist will assist bank staff in ensuring compliance with these rules and regulations. The position also entails providing a comprehensive range of electronic banking applications and general support to both customers and bank personnel. Responsibilities include assisting with investigations and logs for debit card disputes, performing duties across all branch locations in areas such as ACH, wires, Visa debit card fraud, convenient cards, credit cards, and online services including cash management, positive pay, merchant processing, and merchant capture. The specialist will follow defined bank procedures and contribute to the development of processes within their areas of responsibility. Additionally, they will be responsible for reconciling internal accounts as assigned and reviewing daily reports to ensure ongoing system integrity. There may also be opportunities to seek product sales and cross-selling referrals.
