About The Position

SmallHD designs and manufactures cutting-edge display products for both the independent filmmaker and cinema industry. Our monitors are being used worldwide to consistently provide creative professionals with real-time confidence in their image. SmallHD products are known for their durability, premium display quality, and incredible user interface. You will be assembling monitors in our current product line to meet company and customer quality standards. You will play a key role in meeting delivery schedules and business objectives.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months electronic assembly experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to complete basic mechanical and electronic assemblies.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written information to include build instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to understand and apply written and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • An aptitude for good work communication.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision.
  • Must be able to demonstrate good math skills, basic computer skills (email, Excel, Word, Google Apps).
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Completing basic monitor assemblies using hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, nut drivers, and torque drivers.
  • Assembling parts and components per assembly instructions.
  • Building various subassemblies to ensure an efficient process and proper component fitting.
  • Cleaning all parts per established cleaning procedures.
  • Performing regular tests and inspections to ensure product conforms to specifications.
  • Preparing your workstation to be conducive with monitor production and effective work practices.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment in compliance with the company’s rules and policies.
  • Receiving and unpacking materials needed to complete daily assigned assemblies.
  • Communicating errors in documents related to the assembly process and component concerns.
