About The Position

Perform electroneurodiagnostic testing.

Requirements

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Electroencephalographic Technician preferred.
• Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred.
• Technologist specializing in Nerve Conduction Study credentialed from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists preferred.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• 2 to 3 years experience in Neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Technologist specializing in CLTM credentialing by ABRET
• Technologist specializing in Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential credentialed from the American Board of Registration.
• Technologist specializing in EEG, EMU phase I & phase II monitoring
• REEGT preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test.
• Review patient's history, obtain any necessary information or documentation and provide education to patient about procedures.
• Monitor and document patient's condition at all times and report any adverse reactions.
• Operate and maintain a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, which may include EEG(Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment.
• Recognize and correct for artifacts.
• Score/graph, document and report results of diagnostic procedures.
