About The Position

Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Kitchens department is looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician. Job Description: As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of modern automated process systems in our vastly changing Kitchen’s facility.

Requirements

  • 2 years automation experience and/or training
  • Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC’s and supporting control devices
  • Strong industrial electronic and mechanical background
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
  • Accurate/detail oriented
  • Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to support and meet department deadlines
  • Possess good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and manuals
  • Good working knowledge of hand and power tools
  • All candidates must be able to work safely and within food safety and regulatory standards

Nice To Haves

  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in the food industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures
  • Communicate with operators and management team
  • Ensure day to day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved
  • Perform emergency maintenance as required
  • Coordinate with vendors for necessary repairs
  • Inspect facilities and equipment on a regular basis
