About The Position

The Electromechanical Technician position is a contract role on the 2nd shift, located in Phoenix, AZ. The technician will be responsible for assembling electronics according to product specifications, following blueprints to put together electronic devices, tools, and products using hand and power tools and other assembly equipment. The role involves working from instructions, drawings, schematics, illustrations, and process documentation to assemble a wide variety of electrical subassemblies and systems. The technician will also plan, fabricate, assemble, disassemble, set up, test, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electrical hardware and equipment. Additionally, the technician will perform routine, complex, and repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner, analyze and evaluate test results to validate acceptance criteria, and practice and comply with environmental, health, and safety directions and procedures.

Requirements

  • US Citizen and US Person candidates permitted.
  • High School Diploma or GED; in the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience in electromechanical assembly.
  • Prefer soldering certified.
