SQA Services is seeking an Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level II) to support in-process and final inspections at the client supplier site in Price, Utah, for a 4–6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This project supports the Alligator ENG program, involving miniature data centers for a new Google product line. The inspector will work on site, performing hands-on inspections of electromechanical assemblies and enclosures, ensuring compliance to drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards. On-site training will be provided by a lead inspector.

Requirements

  • Experience performing electromechanical or mechanical inspections in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and ability to inspect to drawing requirements
  • Hands-on experience using basic dimensional inspection tools
  • Ability to perform independent in-process and final inspections
  • Comfortable working on site in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience inspecting enclosures, cabinets, or data center equipment
  • Experience supporting high-mix or new product introduction (NPI) projects
  • Familiarity with electrical-mechanical integration environments

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of electromechanical assemblies and enclosures
  • Inspect mechanical fit, alignment, and workmanship of data center cells and structures
  • Verify compliance to engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Use basic inspection tools including measuring tape, levels, and digital protractor
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to on-site teams
  • Support inspection of larger data center cells as production ramps
  • Work closely with production and engineering personnel during inspections
