About The Position

Purpose: Perform preventive, predictive, and general maintenance on printing, bagging, extrusion, auxiliary, and plant support equipment. Night shift: 6pm-6am, working 36 hours/48 hours every other week. Must be able to work OT and weekends. Communicate safety hazards and follow all PPE and LOTO requirements. Maintain and repair plant equipment using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic skills. Troubleshoot electrical circuits and read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Set up, adjust, and maintain equipment for safe, reliable, and continuous operation. Modify and upgrade systems, including motors, VFDs, pumps, compressors, and control circuits. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot PLCs and make minor programming adjustments as needed. Monitor and troubleshoot SCADA systems to ensure equipment performance and reliability. Support, guide, and help train team members. Ensure repair quality and follow up with production as necessary. Assist in developing preventive and predictive maintenance plans to increase reliability. Communicate equipment issues to the Maintenance Manager and help develop corrective actions. Work collaboratively and maintain professional conduct.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency with computers, CMMS, and software used for record-keeping and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems from 12V DC to 480V AC (3-phase).
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently.
