About The Position

The Ascendancy Group is seeking an Electromechanical Marine Engineering Technician to provide diagnostics support, troubleshooting, and repair for various marine equipment. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires a Top Secret/SCI Clearance. The technician will work on diesel engines, reduction gears, propulsion systems, and their sub-assemblies, ensuring the safe engineering and operation of the craft.

Requirements

• Blueprint and schematics reading.
• Working knowledge of military publications, technical instructions, and engineering/electrical illustrations relating to repair procedures and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics support, troubleshooting support, and repair to diesel engines, reduction gears, auxiliaries, and propulsion systems.
• Assist and provide technical recommendations to the Government regarding CCM maintenance and repair.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engines.
• Perform repairs in both shipyard and workshop environments as required.
• Coordinate with Troop or Maintenance Department Chain of Command on matters concerning CCM safe engineering and operating procedures.
