About The Position

Under limited supervision, the Electromechanical Technician maintains and repairs the following equipment: refrigerator equipment, air conditioning units, laundry equipment, Central Service equipment, Patient Care equipment, vehicles, Lab equipment and other equipment throughout the hospital.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• EPA Refrigeration Certification required
• Training on at least one type of equipment they are required to repair, e.g., sterilizers
• Requires two years of experience in at least one of the following related trades: bed repair, sterilizer repair, ice machine repair, or med gas certified
