About The Position
Schneider Electric is offering a Summer 2025 Electromechanical Engineer Intern position in Franklin, TN. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering, and it will involve entry-level engineering activities related to the design of Low Voltage Equipment. The intern will work closely with the low-voltage model control center and switch gear design engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. The intern will assist experienced engineers and designers with various CAD design activities, which will provide a practical understanding of the design process. Additionally, the intern will support prototyping building activities at the model assembly shop, helping to bring theoretical designs to life. Organizing design engineering documentation and creating engineering documentation in the engineering repository system for ongoing projects will also be key responsibilities. Furthermore, the intern will have the opportunity to shadow experienced engineers and designers, gaining insights into their day-to-day work activities and enhancing their learning experience.
