The Electro-Mechanical Assembler follows drawings, diagrams, samples, or written or verbal instructions to assemble sub-assemblies, final products, and other tasks as directed. This role involves soldering, riveting, screwing, gluing, or press-fitting components into place, as well as connecting and soldering lead wires between individual components to the printed circuit board or panel. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Familiarity with working in a production environment is required, and the assembler must be able to follow detailed instructions. The position receives direct supervision from the Team Lead and indirect supervision from the Department Manager. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler does not exercise supervision over any other position. The role requires assembling small internal and other electrical and mechanical components according to schematics to control electrical currents and the product's functionality. Additionally, the assembler will perform quality checks on products and parts, troubleshoot simulator parts after assembly, and consult with supervisors to plan or review work activities. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
