About The Position

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is seeking Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer candidates for a potential opportunity to support NASA at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), a federally funded research and development center located in California. Work may be performed at JPL or customer locations, or remotely, depending on contractual and operational requirements. This position will generate environmental estimates for EMC/magnetic considerations in support of JPL projects. Prepare test specifications, procedures and conduct EMC/magnetic testing and document results in test reports. Support projects in EMC/magnetic tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Generate environmental estimates for EMC/magnetic considerations in support of JPL projects.
• Prepare test specifications and procedures for EMC/magnetic testing.
• Conduct EMC/magnetic testing and document results in test reports.
