About The Position

We are seeking an expert with deep theoretical knowledge and hands‑on experience who will lead the scientific aspects of product development and support the engineering and R&D teams. This role combines scientific consulting, technological guidance, and close involvement in the R&D process. The expert will serve as the professional authority for implementing electrochemical measurement methods in our new product, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and its transformation into actionable engineering metrics.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or a related engineering field, with a specialization in corrosion.
  • EIS Expertise: In‑depth knowledge of impedance measurements, equivalent circuit construction, and data interpretation using Nyquist and Bode plots.
  • Strong understanding of LPR principles (for corrosion rate measurement), Half‑Cell Potential (for potential mapping), and CER (electrical resistance monitoring).

Responsibilities

  • Scientific Leadership: Define the theoretical principles for the development of a non‑destructive EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy) device designed for reinforced concrete structures.
  • Measurement Methodology: Lead the implementation and training on measurement protocols using EIS, CER, LPR (Linear Polarization Resistance), and Half‑Cell Potential methods.
  • Data Analysis: Develop data‑analysis models (such as Equivalent Circuit Modeling for EIS) and explain how to interpret and analyze the results produced by the device.
  • Development Support: Guide hardware and software teams on proper measurement execution, noise filtering, and understanding the impact of environmental conditions on measurement accuracy.
  • Validation: Design and conduct laboratory and field experiments to validate the accuracy of the new device against standard laboratory equipment.
