What we are Looking for: We are looking for a dynamic Electrocardiogram Technician who is passionate about helping others and is a team player! Position Summary Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals as well as other medications to patients and performs the diagnostic study per physician orders.

Requirements

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • High School Diploma
  • Required Certified EKG Technician (CET Exam)
  • BLS

Responsibilities

  • Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patients are comfortable.
  • Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
  • Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
  • Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
