Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Medical Terminology
• Ability to demonstrate arrhythmia recognition
• One (1) year of previous related medical office experience
• CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in a related field
• One (1) year in specialty

Responsibilities

• Monitoring EKG rhythm strips
• Transcribing physician orders
• Performing support duties including paging physicians
• Obtaining insurance pre-certification
• Arranging for home and medical care
• Coordinating desk activities
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
