Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

EKG experience of over 2 years, hospital setting preferred.
8am-12pm Saturday and Sundays and any holidays you can cover would be great!

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (EKGs).
Attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electrocardiograph machine.
Review patient's record and instructs patients prior to procedures.
Monitor patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings.
Identify and correct for artifacts.
Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
Maintain EKG equipment and supplies.
