About The Position

The Electro-Pneumatic Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on card personalization and fulfillment equipment, as well as factory support equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the operational efficiency of various systems, including pneumatic and electrical systems, while collaborating with machine operators and IT to resolve issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Completion of Electro/Mechanical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred.
• 1 year experience in general machining (lathe, milling, grinding).
• 1-2 years CNC operation/repair experience recommended.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical/pneumatic schematics.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong mathematics and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with compressed air systems, emergency lighting, and dust collection systems.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Highly motivated and willing to learn new systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all card personalization and fulfillment equipment.
• Fabricate replacement parts when necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all card personalization/fulfillment equipment and support equipment.
• Work with machine operators to identify and resolve issues with setup and job files.
• Work with IT to identify and resolve machine communications related issues.
• Implement programs to increase OEE.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
