About The Position

The Electro Neuro Tech 1 position at Atrium Medical Center involves independently performing neurodiagnostic procedures, including both routine and long-term electroencephalograms (EEGs) and all modalities of evoked potential procedures. The role requires knowledge in correct EEG, long-term monitoring (LTM), continuous (CEEG)/ICU monitoring, and evoked potential (EP) performance. The technician must recognize clinically significant events and adhere to the facility’s policies and procedures. Professional judgment is essential in the performance of exams, and effective communication with neurologists and other staff members is required. The position may also involve on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School completion / GED required.
• CPR Certification required.
• R.EEG.T board-eligible.
• R.EP.T board-eligible.
• No prior job-related work experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in Electroencephalograms (EEG) and Evoked Potentials (EP) preferred.

Responsibilities
