About The Position

My client, a leading food company in the Lancaster, PA area, is seeking an Electro\-Mechanical Technician with a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing of high\-speed\/high\-volume manufacturing equipment. This position is a direct hire, with a very competitive starting hourly rate, company paid for medical benefits, company paid for training\/certifications, PTO and other great incentives! Summary : A person highly qualified in the field of troubleshooting and installation of electrical \/ electronic devices and equipment in a food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 2 Year degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Certification or degrees in the area of PLC, VFD, HMI and all other related training or on the job experience
• At least 3 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician and Instrumentation
• Strong background in an industrial environment, preferably a food manufacturing facility
• 1\-2+ years troubleshooting PLC’s

Responsibilities

• Perform programming and maintain PLC, VFD, MMI documentation, including but not limited to Allen\-Bradley Software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Maintains the existing electrical infrastructure and automation applications.
• Must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to log and track work orders and PM's.
• Provide automation, MES and factory support on assigned shift, including development of E&C Technicians’ capabilities
