About The Position

Electro‑Mechanical Plant Maintenance Mechanic Join a maintenance team that keeps production running safely, cleanly, and efficiently. You’ll blend mechanical know‑how with basic electrical troubleshooting to stabilize uptime and support continuous improvement across the site. Role responsibilities Execute entry- and mid-scope preventive maintenance and break/fix repairs on industrial equipment. Adjust mechanical assemblies and control devices; replace defective components; recondition basic machine tools. Identify and requisition parts, supplies, and repair items to complete work orders. Provide cross-coverage for department teammates when directed by leadership. Apply maintenance industry standards; uphold 5S and exceptional housekeeping. Participate in CI initiatives to improve processes, document results, and deliver cost savings. Operate simple machining equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder) to fabricate or repair parts; perform basic welding tasks when required. Maintain accurate records, update CMMS entries, and review asset history to inform decisions. Troubleshoot straightforward control circuit issues on production equipment. Engage in ongoing technical self-study for professional growth. Comply with all safety procedures, technical instructions, and environmental expectations; maintain situational awareness and report hazards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in a technical field, or 18+ months of related industrial experience, or completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
  • Foundational understanding of mechanical and basic electrical systems with hands-on repair capability.
  • Competence with standard hand tools.
