Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field with 5-8 years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to apply concepts of engineering to multiple solution lines.
  • Ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work effectively with CAD/CAM systems and standard business application software.
  • Ability to develop new procedures to solve problems.
  • Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including mastery of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and review manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment in one or more facilities.
  • Oversee and optimize complex manufacturing and assembly of new and existing Parker products.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop advanced manufacturing techniques, testing new systems and methods for efficiency.
  • Plan assembly layouts to optimize production, quality, cost, and safety.
  • Lead multi-disciplined problem solving and/or project teams.
  • Plan and design complex and advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Determine equipment and tooling needed to achieve manufacturing goals.
  • Help develop and implement process improvement projects focusing on efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost.
  • Ensure complex processes and procedures comply with regulations.
  • Investigate and take corrective action to ensure product quality.
  • Create layout and assembly procedures, technical reports, and charts.
  • Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype models according to engineering instructions.
