About The Position

Lockheed Martin MFC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer intern to support the Orlando, FL location. This candidate will be supporting 2D - 3D Heterogenous packaging concepts of advanced electronics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: design and test of advanced electronic design solutions, utilizing Thin Films, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and advanced thermal management techniques. Additionally, the position provides the opportunity to work with multiple disciplines related to product design, electrical systems, and test engineering. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
Experience with Microelectronic circuits, lab work in materials, hardware integration.
Experience with 3-D printing, prototyping, additive manufacturing, etc.
Experience with CREO or similar 3D CAD tools
Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clesrance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with thermal, heat transfer, cooling, thermodynamics, etc.
Experience with semiconductor devices, circuitry within computer devices/cell phones, etc.
