About The Position

You will be the Electromechanical (Packaging) Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Hypersonics program, specifically working on the ARRW (Air-launched Rapid Response Weapon) vehicle. Our team is responsible for designing and developing the Enclosure, Circuit Card, and Harness Interface, and you will play a key role in driving the design and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of CREO & Windchill
• Must have a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
• Must have experience with Electronic Packaging design and development

Responsibilities

• Designing using model-based designs and Model-based CCA (Circuit Card Assembly)
• Collaborating closely with electrical and ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design) layout designers to ensure seamless integration
• Applying your knowledge to drive innovation in future designs and developments, with a focus on best practices and volume-constrained design
• Working with PWB (Printed Wiring Board) suppliers, component engineers, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to ensure design is manufacturable, yieldable, and affordable
• Serving as the Environmental Liaison, working with Structural, Thermal, and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) analysts to assure design capability
