While reporting to the Plant Manager as the Electro-Mechanic, you will assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment or machinery.

Requirements

• You can perform work under direct supervision.
• You can handle basic issues/ problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• You possess beginner working knowledge of subject matter.
• You have a degree from an accredited technical school or from an applicable skilled trades program with 3 to 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
• Ensuring new machines are prepared for operation following protocols and procedures and perform regular technical testing to ensure their safety and efficiency.
• Collecting data on machine operation and suggest actions to reduce machine downtime.
