Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electro-mechanical technology preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on a wide range of electro-mechanical equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and foam production machinery.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
Conduct repairs and replace defective components, such as motors, drives, bearings, sensors, and control systems.
Maintain and service electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, PLCs, and HMIs.
Regularly inspect equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
Monitor and record equipment performance, ensuring optimal functionality.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess equipment conditions and predict maintenance needs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Actively participate in lockout/tagout procedures and maintain documentation.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replaced, and preventive maintenance performed.
Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Keep an up-to-date inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment performance.
Assist with the implementation of new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and enhance equipment utilization.
Participate in team meetings and provide input on maintenance strategies and improvements.
