About The Position

Develop Electrified Powertrain Control System work products that coordinate actions and functions between modules and subsystems to meet vehicle level and Feature attributes such as: Design Validation Method (DVM) - Test Specification Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R) - Test Report Perform System level testing in vehicle, on breadboard or using Software/Hardware in the Loop Analyze vehicle CAN communication data and ECU diagnostics Support Functional Safety tasks where necessary Support/Drive control system quality/field issue root cause investigation and issue resolution Perform system simulation modeling

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in control system design or calibration
  • 3+ years' experience with vehicle systems and/or vehicle level attributes
  • 3+ years' of experience in powertrain systems, components and electrified vehicles
  • Understanding of programing languages and tools (C , Matlab, Simulink etc)
  • Experience with data recording tools (ATI, CANalyzer)

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electromechanical and software systems
  • Ability to manage/resolve urgent launch/Quality concerns
  • Strong leadership skills, passion for quality, passion to improve customer satisfaction
  • Very effective ability to explain technical details and gain alignment and consensus on solutions.
