We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our facilities management team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across commercial real estate properties to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building operations.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, motors, and control systems
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment, panels, transformers, and emergency systems
  • Monitor and maintain building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and building standards
  • Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment (multimeters, signal generators, etc)
  • Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and equipment
  • Respond to emergency electrical issues and power outages
  • Assist with electrical system upgrades and installations
  • Support tenant improvement projects and electrical modifications
  • Review electrical drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors on electrical work
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
  • Participate in safety programs and training initiatives
  • Prepare reports on system performance and recommendations
  • Valid electrical license in the state of Oregon (Journeyman, Plant Journeyman or LME)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • EPA certification and other relevant certifications a plus
  • 3+ years of commercial electrical experience
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS) preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls and systems
  • Familiarity with emergency power systems and generators
  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, local codes)
  • Experience with electrical testing equipment
  • Basic computer skills and CMMS software experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
