About The Position
The position involves performing electrical repairs and installations, including removing, replacing, tightening, splicing, or soldering electrical controls, fixtures, and wiring. The incumbent will also be responsible for complex troubleshooting and repair of machines, preparing various maintenance and inspection reports, and ensuring the proper installation and safe operation of systems, circuits, and equipment. The work environment includes shops, buildings, and aboard ships and submarines, requiring physical demands such as lifting, bending, and climbing.
