  • Troubleshooting plant power distribution, motor control, and PLC systems.
  • Using test equipment such as megger, DMM, oscilloscope, amprobe, and transistor tester.
  • Conducting instrument calibration.
  • Maintaining an understanding of engineering drawings and updating prints.
  • Working with digital and analog electronics, logic circuits, and triac power controls.
  • Maintaining accurate records including equipment logs, communication logs, and job orders.
  • Modeling the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
  • Participating in the Springville upskilling program.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Two-year degree or equivalent in Electrical Automation or Electrical Technology.
  • 6 months of industrial electrical experience within the past 12 months, with 2+ years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and shutdown, plus any shift as needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to use required electrical test equipment and hand tools.
  • Understanding of the basic operation of electrical equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programming, including PLC's and operator interfaces.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of circuit boards, schematics, assembly, vision systems and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of temperature controls.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC is preferred.
  • Experience in a heavily automated environment is preferred.
  • Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts with built-in overtime and 7 days off in a row per month.
  • Starting hourly pay of $33-$40/hour, based on knowledge and demonstrated skill.
  • Up to an additional $1.10/hour of Shift Differential.
