About The Position

As an Electrician, your main focus is to provide electrical support to the Army. You will find yourself working on a variety of tasks, from appliance repairs to wiring multi-storey buildings, in an even greater variety of locations. Initially, you will be posted to the School of Military Engineering, Linton Military Camp, where you will spend the duration of your apprenticeship learning basic engineering and electrical skills. Upon completion of your training, you will be posted into 2 Engineer Regiment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old by the time you graduate from recruit course
• Eligible to meet national security clearance criteria
• 3 years secondary school education
• Medically fit for service
• Meet minimum entry fitness standards
• Strict citizenship and security requirements for CV security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical support to the Army
