About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in commercial and industrial electrical systems . The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of hands-on experience, a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and the ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
• 10–15 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and best practices.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, specifications, and diagrams.
• Clean MVR and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, elevated, or confined spaces).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with conduit bending, motor controls, switchgear, transformers, and PLCs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, control panels, and machinery).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices as needed.
• Complete documentation, reports, and work orders accurately.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Maintain workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
• Safely operate company vehicles (clean MVR required).
