About The Position

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Electricians for a project in Trenton, SC. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.

Requirements

Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

Knowledgeable with blueprints, sketches and building plans pertaining to type of material
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Prepares layout, using voltage tester, wire strippers, level, pipe benders etc...
Terminates panels utilizing LOTO
Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers.
Run cable tray, pulls wire and bend various types of conduit.
Understands motor controls and metering.
Size branch circuit overcurrent protection devices.
Calculate loads for single phase and three-phase branch circuits.
Rates information using standards, which can be measured or checked.
Reviews and compares differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
Follow directions, plans, and blueprints.
Perform work overhead, beneath structure, and from various other positions as required by working conditions.
Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
Lift and carry objects of varying weights.
Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
Regular attendance is required.
Significant travel may be required.
Performs other duties as required.
