About The Position

As a full-time, on-site Electrician serving Porter Hills Village and Cook Valley Estates, you’ll keep vital electrical systems running safely and efficiently in a vibrant senior living community. Primary Responsibilities: Electrical System Maintenance & Repairs: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment. Install electrical panels, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Inspect electrical components, systems, and equipment for malfunctions or potential issues. Troubleshoot electrical issues related to medical devices, lighting, and power distribution systems. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on circuits, breakers, wiring, and related electrical systems. Installation of Electrical Equipment & Systems: Install new electrical systems or upgrade existing systems to support evolving technology and infrastructure needs. Work with contractors on electrical installations for new construction, renovations, or capital projects. Provide accurate estimates and timelines for electrical work and projects. Safety & Risk Management: Conduct regular safety inspections to identify electrical hazards or areas of concern. Ensure electrical systems are safe and secure to protect team members, residents, and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety policies and regulations.

Requirements

Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, required.
Must possess a valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent.
Position requires the ability to lift and move objects, weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance
